Reduce Sentencing and Win More Cases

Our services will help you reduce the sentence or even win the case for your client. We work within a set budget and secure as much relevant information as possible to provide the tools to effectively argue your client’s case. We also take into account the issue of the necessity of time. We go above and beyond to help you and your client.

We confirm alibis and explanations given to you by your client and/or witnesses and provide you expert witnesses that you can hire to argue the facts of your case. Often a person accusing another of a crime has a vendetta or hidden agenda. We look for that angle when we look into their background. We determine who is telling the truth and who is simply motivated by revenge or those mistaken in their accounting of the facts.

When you hire Feegel & Associates, you will receive professionalism, reliability, honesty, thoroughness, accurate and timely reports, and consideration of your budget.

All reports are submitted in a timely manner and all are sent via e-mail and U.S. Mail with tracking and delivery confirmation.

All invoices will include a W-9 for your accounting department, eliminating the need to request such a document.

Our Services Include:

Background Investigations

We have worldwide resources through our well-established associations of other professional private investigators to assist us in finding the information you need.

We dig into the facts of the situation and uncover various aspects that are usually hidden from the opposing party.

We may be able to provide you evidence that proves your client was not even at the scene of the crime at a given time and date.

We will provide you accurate addresses and contact information of the cellular telephone carriers, social networking companies, and e-mail accounts and their legal departments for the use of serving subpoenas for records.

This includes but is not limited to hidden asset, real property, licenses held, past injuries, legal filings, criminal histories, unlisted phone numbers, cell phone numbers, addresses, e-mail addresses, spouses and relatives, associates, businesses affiliations, employers, driving records, aliases, neighbors, bankruptcies, civil judgments, eviction records, internet domain registrations, aircraft, watercraft, vehicle registrations,  sex offender records, tax liens, voter registration records, warrants, verification of gun ownership, and damning statements found posted on social networking sites that may contradict the witnesses.

Crime Scene Photography

Scene photography is used to illustrate and possibly refute the accusations of law enforcement or the accusing party.

Photography of crime scenes often reveals many clues that are needed in defending a client. We have extensive knowledge in securing these images that may have been overlooked by investigating agencies within the law enforcement. Although law enforcement does a good job at securing images of a crime scene, a second view may capture items that would otherwise be lost as they were overlooked.

 Accident Scene Photography

Scene photography provides visual evidence that can be presented to the state at or before trial.

Often the investigating law enforcement agencies do not take photographs of the scene. We are experienced in accident scene photography as well as injury photography, vehicle damage, harmful products, electrical-related accidents, fire accidents, etc. We use sophisticated equipment to capture the true images that accurately reflect the situation at hand. You don’t get just a photograph. We use comparative measurements within photographs to illustrate size, distances, height, etc. Most photographs include an Obinski stick, a photomicrography scale, or some other professional measuring device to illustrate the accurate size, shape and dimension of the item being photographed.

Asset Locates

Hidden assets are difficult to locate. That is why they are hidden. Nevertheless, we have experience in locating banks accounts, both nationally and abroad. We use legal means to uncover assets that would have not been located had we not searched for such assets. There are countless places to hide assets, including credit card accounts and offshore bank accounts. Given the right information and time to search for these, we are proficient in locating these assets.

Witness Locates

Often, witnesses will not want to be located, much less approached and questioned. We have the ability to not only locate hard-to-find witnesses, but we are also experienced at tracking by canvassing an area to locate the key witness that your case needs to win.

Witness Statements/Interviews

With over 22 years of investigative experience and 30 years of forensic investigations, we have the knowledge to secure statements from less than cooperative witnesses.

Early in the process, we utilize numerous tools to identify potential witnesses, including proprietary databases and extensive networks of industry sources. Additionally, we can find contact information, such as an addresses or phone number for a witness—even if they are hiding.

We clearly capture the witness statement in a thorough method, covering the facts as the witness observed or heard them. We do not speculate but gather the facts you need.  Statements can be obtained in a written format or a recorded format, either by video recording or audio recording.

We are careful to adhere to state and federal laws when meeting witnesses in person—especially if we must doorstep (showing up at a potential witness’ home, place of work, or a scheduled event unannounced to see if the witness will speak with us). We will gladly approach even a street person or prostitute to secure their accounting of the facts.

We adhere to state laws and federal when cold-calling witnesses or interviewing witnesses expecting our call. For example, there are strict laws regarding when a call can be recorded. Is the party residing in a one or two party state?

We are careful with our interview notes and understand they are likely discoverable.

Finally and most importantly, we know that a witness must be treated well.  If the witness is unable to trust us or feels taken advantage of, they are likely to disappear, or become uncooperative.

Skip Tracing

Skip tracing is an art all by itself. When people do not want to be found they will be resourceful in maintaining a hidden location or name change to avoid detection. We have the experience and ability to track down a skip when other agencies give up the search. Our tenacity proves our dedication to securing the location of your missing person.

Special Process Serving on Difficult Cases

Although we are not process servers, we are often called in to perfect service on a witness, defendant or officer of a corporation because we always get the job done. Even at 4:00 a.m., we will get the person served and return to you the original documents along with a signed and notarized affidavit reflecting such.

Computer and Cell Phone Forensics

We are in connection with many experts to evaluate the data within a cell phone, a computer’s hard drive and e-mail history. Often, many facts can be retrieved from these devices. Just because a person may have deleted (or think they deleted) text messages, videos, photographs and e-mails, this evidence is often discovered and retrieved. This data can then be evaluated to compare against an alibi, an accusing party’s location, etc.
